Family owned and operated, Cipriano's is decorated in classic style with checkered tablecloths and brightly painted, stuccoed walls, with the sounds of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin in the background. The menu features home-style Italian dishes, with recipes dating back to 1953, when owner Frank's father, Guiseppe Cipriano, introduced the large, flat, and round crust to Vancouver. Frank and wife, Christina Cipriano, have been operating the restaurant for twenty-three years, with Christina's brother, Al, joining on as manager in 1991. Over the years, several family members have filled in as cooks and servers. While the faces may change, what remains constant are the generous portions of pizza and pasta in a dining room that's a little slice of the old country. That's amore!
