"My husband and I have been to Lalibela Ethiopian Restaurant in Burnaby several times. There are so many wonderful dishes to choose from, vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. My husband loves the chicken stir fry dish, and I love the beef stew dish. The owners are always so friendly, outgoing, attentive, and we enjoy every visit to the restaurant. We have tried many other Ethiopian restaurants and this one by far is our favourite, with the quality of food, service, selection, price, and the friendliness of the owners. The food is served on one large plate, with Injera, Ethiopain bread. We also love the special Ethiopian coffee ceremony that you can order at the end of your meal. The restaurant is very welcoming and warm and inviting. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to have a wonderful experience whether for lunch or dinner in enjoying Ethiopian food." |

"I highly recommend Lalibela specially for the adventurous type and those who want to try something new and different. It was my first taste of Ethiopian cuisine and I sure loved it. I specially like its green salad with fresh tomatoes. The dressing had a very distinct taste. While there are some dishes that are spicy they also have something that would cater to those who dont prefer very spicy food. The serving portion is huge and is more than enough to fill one person. The place is neat and nice and there is enough space even for small gathering. Lalibela is really worth a try and I'm sure you'd want to come again. NV" |
