If you have read my previous reviews, you might know I am a big meat-eater, with a low-fibre special dietary need. It is great to see that Arby's Restaurant, the fast-food sandwich chain, has finally come up with a sandwich that I can eat.
Their new sourdough sandwiches allow me to eat an Arby's meal without having to remove undesired onions or sesame seeds. Furthermore, their sourdough melts are just the right size, so that I can enjoy two of them without being overly full (and this is especially great because they currently have a special where you can get two melts for $5.00). There are two kinds of sourdough melts: ham with Swiss cheese, and beef with cheddar cheese. I prefer the beef with cheddar cheese, accompanied with a little Arby's sauce.
Another great thing about the Metrotown Arby's location is the service. After discussing my special dietary needs with the manager, he assured me that he gets frequent special requests throughout the day, and he is more than happy to ensure that customers are satisfied.
If a melt doesn't tempt you, Arby's has a plethora of different choices on their menu such as their market-fresh sandwiches and breakfasts. So, when you are in Metrotown Mall, be sure to visit Arby's! Reviewed by: Kevin Freeman
