I have to admit that I love the taste of lamb. Since 1967, Olympia Restaurant has been a popular place for great Greek food, especially lamb. It is located on West Broadway Street just south of the Hollywood Theatre, which means it is a perfect location for dinner and a movie.
As I have always found, when we visited the servers were friendly and the décor fit the Greek theme. The best feature however was their succulent lamb roast. I have a special dietary need and the server was accommodating to my request for extra potatoes instead of Greek salad. When the Arni Psito ($14.95) arrived,
I had to take a moment to gaze and marvel at the amount of lamb, garlic bread, potatoes and rice that I was about to eat. I loosened my belt and dove in. The lamb was so tender it melted in my mouth. Other dishes that I would recommend are the large lamb souvlakia ($14.25) and the pizzas ($11.25 to $18.25). Overall, Olympia Restaurant is a great place for a group outing, a feast, or dinner and a movie. Reviewed by: Kevin Freeman
