Usually when a restaurant offers quantity, it means that it has sacrificed quality. However, that is not the case at
Samurai Sushi House. This restaurant makes the largest sushi rolls I've ever seen in
Vancouver, with rolls almost 2 inches wide! The sashimi pieces are also
huge. Despite the gargantuan-looking sushi, it still tasted really good.
One would logically think that because you are getting more sushi than average that the price should be higher. That is not the case at Samurai Sushi. A California
roll will cost you around $3 and the rest of the prices are no more expensive than anywhere else. Not surprisingly,
Samurai is very popular among students who are always looking for the best bang for their buck.
The restaurant is very small and resembles a very small cafe. There aren't too many places to sit down and the menu is primarily sushi. You will have to go to another restaurant if you want other traditional Japanese dishes such as
chicken teriyaki or yakisoba, but if you want lots of sushi at a good price then definitely consider Samurai Sushi House.
To avoid disappointment, please phone the restaurant/food establishment to make sure they are open, before visiting. Business hours and prices may change without notice.
