This authentic North-African
restaurant has been getting rave reviews in the local
newspapers. One reviewer writes, "At
Vancouver's first Eritrean restaurant, the communal food is
so good you'll eat your plate."
Servings of
mouth watering vegetables (or meats) are served on a
spongy crepe-like bread (called injera).
In this
traditional North African style dinner, you eat by
wrapping pieces of bread around morsels of food, without
any utensils.
The walls
at the Red Sea Cafe are decorated with painted animal
skins.
Vegetarian dishes are
available. If you have a special dietary need, be sure
to inform your server.
