Feature Review

	Gohan is a "West-coast Japanese" restaurant located in the new retail and residential complex just west of Brentwood Mall. The menu has all the standard Japanese sushi fare plus a number of quite innovative, West-coast and American influenced dishes.
	The rightmost maki (roll) sushi in the picture at left is the Gohan Roll ($4.25), which is like a California roll with the addition of a crunchy tempura filling. Also pictured are the Alaska roll ($5.95) and the Dynamite roll ($4.25). Other interesting rolls include the Deep South Roll (with an obvious American influence) and the Philadelphia Roll (which I assume has cream cheese).
	The shrimp and avocado salad special also came with a generous amount of crab meat. $8.50
	Salmon Tataki with Jalapeno peppers. The salmon was lightly grilled around the edges and was still raw inside (which is the way Tataki is supposed to be), and it was topped with roe and Jalapeno peppers. I expected the peppers to be hot and overpowering, but instead they were quite mild, just adding a delicate flavor. $7.95
