I was in the mall at Metrotown, was rather pressed for time, and had a sudden Mexican food craving. I looked around and saw the fast food restaurant Taco Time, and decided to give them a try. I was just one person out of thousands of Canadians and Americans who make the decision to eat at a Taco Time every day, and like the majority of this hungry mob, I was quite satisfied by the overall experience.
I have a special low-fibre dietary need, so I had to examine the menu carefully to find something that I could eat. But it was quite easy to find some compatible menu items, and I ordered the meat burrito and Mexi-fries with a drink, for $6.20. I was able to watch my lunch being made which was helpful because I could observe the ingredients that were used, and I ensured that everything met my food sensitivities.
Taco Time serves the famous deep-fried Mexi fries, which is are obviously not the most health-conscious food, but they also offer several more nutritious menu items, which include the taco salad, chicken taco salad, and the chicken fajita. Overall if you need a fast meal with good value, go to Taco Time and you likely won't be disappointed.
