Seafood Creole. Serves 2-4

consult with your medical team before you attempt to make this recipe.
1 lb Digby scallops
1/2 lb crab meat
1/2 lb shrimp
1 mediumonion, chopped
1 cup celery
1/2 green pepper, sliced thinly
3 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp flour
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp basil salt
1 tsp lemon pepper
1 540ml can tomatoes
1 156ml can tomato paste
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp hot pepper sauce
- Saute onion, celery and green pepper in olive oil and garlic for 5 minutes. Add the flour, thyme, and basil salt to the above, while stirring constantly.
- Mix together the tomatoes, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and hot pepper sauce. Once mixed, add to the above mixture and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add seafood and cook for 3-5 minutes. Serve hot over rice.
