Maestro Bramwell Tovey and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra are very proud to announce the appointment of Scott Good as VSO Composer-In-Residence. Dr. Good is a Canadian composer of orchestral, chamber and vocal works that have been successfully performed in North America, Europe and Asia.
 
Scott Good’s unique pieces will be featured in the Vancouver Sun Symphony at the Roundhouse series. Scott’s piece, Variations for Chamber Orchestra, will be presented on February 9th, in a concert that also features his former teacher, Ka Nin Chan’s work Par-ci, Par-la. In addition, Babbitt-Concerto for Saxophone(s) and …Blood which flowed will be performed on March 20th and May 17th respectively.
