Friday July 18th, 2008 the BC Lions play Winnipeg under the dome. Taste of the City will be held at the PNE on Saturday July 19th, 2008. Summer Night Market is another great choice for weekend fun. O’Doul’s Restaurant is having a jazz celebration. From the Press Release:
On the eve of what would have been Adderley’s 80th birthday, O’Doul’s Restaurant & Bar is celebrating the music of this Jazz Giant with the help of three of his biggest fans and finest interpreters - fellow alto-sax men - Campbell Ryga (Thursday, July 31), Jack Stafford (Friday, August 1) and Roy Styffe (Saturday, August 2).
All three sax players will be accompanied by bass player Russ Botten and his Trio.
