Directly from the Senova Press Release Vancouver, BC… Recently returned from European travels, inspired and refreshed, Senova’s Manuel Ferreira will be preparing his take on paella at EAT! Vancouver - The Everything Food + Cooking Festival. Taking the International Culinary Stage at 3:15PM on May 23 and 24, Ferreira will present “Spanish Paella - A Palate and Eye Pleaser”. To coincide with the presentations and in celebration of the famous dish, Senova will be running a special $35.00 3-course paella menu from Friday May 22nd through Sunday May 24th. Combining the bold flavours of seafood and/or meats with saffron rice, paella truly is a dish for all seasons and occasions. The Spanish specialty is easily adaptable to whatever ingredients are on hand, making it an excellent recipe to have in your repertoire. Be sure to visit the International Culinary Stage at EAT! Manuel Ferreira, owner of Le Gavroche Restaurant Français, was born in Portugal and spent his childhood in France, returning to his homeland for holidays. Each garden party starts with a casual tasting of wines from the evening’s featured region, held in Hart House’s elegant gardens. Guests may then purchase wines from the evening’s specially-selected wine list to pair with the al fresco dinner that follows.
