The Oliver winery took three medals; a gold, silver and bronze. Earning GOLD was the 2006 Tinhorn Creek Vineyards Cabernet Franc, which is available through the winery or at wine stores throughout BC and Alberta for just $17.99. “We couldn’t be happier that our 2006 Cabernet Franc has been recognized in this way along with a number of other great BC wines. In these turbulent financial times it’s great to know that you can still find a fantastic wine for under $20. They’re getting harder to find but our Cabernet Franc is one of them.” says Shaun Everest, General Manager. Taking SILVER was the yet to be released 2005 Oldfield’s Collection Syrah. This is just the second vintage for this wine, and will be released in November as an exclusive offering to Tinhorn Creek Crush Club Members (info on Crush Club available at http://www.tinhorn.com/crush.asp).
