An eating contest will be held on Sunday June 18th, 2006 to benefit the West End / Coal Harbour Community Policing Center.

It’s sponsored by Mr. Pickwick’s Fish & Chips, Yaletown Sofa, and English Bay Seafoods.   

The contest involves the following:

Chip eating contest from 2:00pm to 2:30pm with a ten minute time limit.
Fish cake eating contest from 3:00pm to 3:30pm with a ten minute time limit.
Fish eating contest from 4:00pm to 4:30pm with a ten minute time limit.

If you’re feeling really hungry, consider competing in this gastronomic challenge. Or just drop by to watch, and cheer on all the brave competitors.

Registration and pledge forms are available at Mr. Pickwick’s Fish & Chips, 1007 Denman Street, Vancouver B.C. There is a $10 entrance fee before June 15th, 2006, $20 after June 15th, 2006 for competitors.  The following prizes are being offered:

$50 prize for most pledges collected.
$50 prize for chip eating contest winner.
$50 prize for fish cake eating contest winner.
