Food Vancouver Select Guide: West Coast Christmas Show

In this edition, the Food Vancouver Select Guide features The Third Annual West Coast Christmas Show which takes place from November 26-28, 2010 at the Tradex Exhibition Center in the Fraser Valley. It is Western Canada’s leading holiday season show bringing together in one convenient location, items of seasonal holiday décor, gifts, food products, festive seminars and culinary demonstrations.
This much anticipated show is becoming extremely popular with attendance rising steadily over the years from 10,215 in 2008 to 13,247 in 2009. This year the number of attendees is expected to top 16,000. Visitors to the show will be delighted with the decorated Christmas trees in the Festival of Trees Hall. Local musicians will set the tone with the soothing sounds of Christmas music. There will be a variety of exhibits showcasing innovative new ideas and products from home décor, jewelry, and accessories to specialty food products such as condiments, seasonings and chocolates. Holiday gift shoppers can find items ranging from stocking stuffers to those one-of-a-kind items.
Also featured will be complimentary cheese seminars with tips on how to throw those perfect holiday wine-and-cheese parties. Resorts and other holiday destinations will also be featuring special package offers for those great holiday getaways.
In the culinary section exhibitors will feature specialty food items together with cooking demonstrations, tastings and recipe tip-sheets for the novice chef. Of particular interest to those who like to promote local products and growers will be the artisan booths.

With Christmas just around the corner, the West Coast Christmas Show is perfectly timed for visitors to pick up new ideas for home decorating and holiday gift shopping. Tickets: Adult admission at the gate is $10 per person. You can save $5 on Adult admission if you purchase tickets online by November 11, 2010. After November 11, 2010 you can still save $2 off adult admission for tickets purchased on-line.
