Whether it’s the weekday low fat muffin and coffee or that leisurely weekend family breakfast, many Vancouverites enjoy their outings at their favorite restaurants. In this edition of the Food Vancouver Select Guide we feature the Top 20 Breakfast places – giving you lots of choices.
ABC Family Restaurant
ABC Family Restaurant has various locations throughout the Lower Mainland. A large family chain restaurant, ABC serves breakfast all day long. It’s reasonably priced so bring the whole family along for a filling breakfast.
Aphrodite's Cafe
Specializes in organic farm-fresh ingredients that are in-season. Try their perfectly cooked Florentine Eggs Benedict. Overall a good breakfast menu to choose from.
Art's Family Restaurant (Kerrisdale)
Breakfast served all day including all your favorites: “bennies’, eggs, bacon. With good breakfast food and great service, Art's may become your new favourite.
Bon's Off Broadway
Bon’s says “It’s all about breakfast” and with huge portions and reasonable prices starting from $2.95 you can’t go wrong. Bon's is located at 2451 Nanaimo Street, Vancouver, 604-253-7242.
Cafe Medina
From the creators of Chambar a breakfast place were you can have the Belgian waffles as you linger over your coffee. Another favorite is their grilled focaccia
Central Bistro
Central Bistro takes great pride in its menu – with everything made ‘from scratch with fresh ingredients’. Great breakfasts, reasonably priced.

Deacon's Corner
Deacon’s is an old style diner on Vancouver’s downtown east side. Enjoy the good size breakfast portions guaranteed to fill you up so you won’t leave hungry.
De Dutch Pannekoek House
De Dutch - with various locations throughout the city. Although the Pannekoek, a 12" in diameter genuine Dutch pancake, is what made De Dutch famous, it’s more than just a pancake house.
