Carmelis Goat Cheese Artisan is a family-run boutique dairy that produces over 20 different varieties of delicious goat cheeses using 100% goat’s milk. Connoisseurs swear by the Goatgonzola, a lovely blue cheese that is earthy and sweet, as well as nutty. Carmelis also makes 24 flavours of goat’s milk gelato.

Taste their outstanding Dry Riesling with a meal on the open-air Vineyard Terrace Restaurant – no matter where you sit, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape.

Inspired by the popularity of iced wine, the iced ciders of Raven Ridge Cidery are just as delicious. Try all their great ciders and wines during your visit and then take a guided tour of the farm and its orchards on a covered wagon. And champagne lovers will not want to miss their excellent True Sparkling Cider.

The biggest farmers’ market in BC has to be The Kelowna Farmers’ and Crafters’ Market. Browse stalls featuring fresh produce, homemade jams and jellies, handcrafted treasures, and much more. It’s the perfect place to for a stroll on a Wednesday or Saturday morning, or a Thursday evening. You’ll often find entertainment and festivals there as well.

Located in Kelowna in the historic Laurel Packinghouse, the BC Wine Museum displays historic labels, winemaking equipment and artifacts from the history of BC winemaking. As over 90 wineries are located in the Okanagan, the beautiful valley was a natural location for this great attraction.

We highly recommend Rollingdale Winery and their very popular Sweet Tooth Series ice wines. This small certified-organic farm gate winery is 100% family owned and operated. Drop by at the right time and you’ll enjoy a tour conducted by Rollingdale’s very own winemaker.

Visit Quails’ Gate Estate Winery and take what some say is “the best tour in the Okanagan.” Taste their internationally renowned Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs and other standouts like their port-style Fortified Vintage Foch. We also recommend a visit to their Old Vines restaurant for Sunday brunch.
